Summary:

Our Children’s Department has been set up to serve the needs of families and children from infancy through 6th grade.

The children’s room itself is a warm and comfy place to come and hang out for hours. In addition to stacks and stacks of books, nurse movies, music and magazines, there are many hands-on activities available for creative and dramatic play. Our children’s room has puzzles, coloring, literacy computers, building blocks and a large Thomas the Tank Engine train table. You should consider the children’s room the “Community Living Room”

The library also has a multitude of programming for children of all ages. It offers storytimes, family storytimes, school-aged programming, field trips, movies and book clubs. New programs are popping up all the time. Check the website frequently or drop in often to catch new developments.

Contact Children’s Services Librarian Cindy Beyer for and questions on services at 262-284-5031 or by e-mail at cbeyer@monarchlibraries.org.
