Author Talk with Lindsay Starck

Join us to hear from our feature fiction author: Lindsay Starck. Lindsay, a writer, editor, and professor based in Minneapolis was born in Wisconsin and raised in the Milwaukee Public Library! Her first novel, Noah’s Wife, was published in 2016 by G.P. Putnam’s Sons, and second novel, Monsters We Have Made, was published in March 2024 by Vintage / Anchor Books, and her short fiction has appeared widely.

STEM Storytime

Join Miss Amy for STEM Storytime! This program will feature a shortened storytime followed by hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities. Our Spring Session runs March 4 - May 13. No STEM Storytime on March 25. No registration is required. Different theme each week! March Themes March 4- Construction March 11- Big Cats March 18- Eggs April Themes April 1- Rhyming April 8- Jungles April 15- Dogs & Cats April 22- The Sky April 29- Magnets May Themes May 6- Seeds and Plants May 13- Wiggly Things Age: Target age is preschooler-kindergarten, but open to all. Location: Starts in the Children’s Library on the Pete the Cat rug and then moves across the hall to the Community Room for the activities.
