Find the 9 fossils in the windows of our local downtown businesses! If you find all 9 fossils and write down the correct business names, turn in your sheet to the library for your prize! Scavenger hunt sheets will be available at both upstairs and downstairs circulation desks.

Paws for Reading

Take time to read with your favorite paws! Drop-in to read out loud to Gracie, a certified Therapy Dog to help practice reading skills and build confidence in a low-stress and positive environment. No pre-registration required, located in the Children's Library. Thursdays at 10:00am from June 4 - Aug 27 (no Gracie on June 25 & Aug 6).

Tyrannosaurus Taxidermy

Have you ever looked at your wall and thought, “Wow, I wish I had a dinosaur head hanging there?” Well, now is your chance to make your own taxidermized dinosaur head to mount in your home. You will apply paper mache to the dino head base; while it’s drying, design your foam mount, and then assemble and paint! Registration requested please, ages 14+!
