Bring Your Own Book Club

Meet with fellow book lovers and share the book you are currently reading or just finished, whether its a cookbook, biography, romance, poetry, or anything in-between- fiction or nonfiction. Join us at Inventors Brewpub, in the game room, for a fun discussion all about books, and make exchanges and requests through the library, led by Adult Services Librarian, Alyssa. All are welcome, no registration is required.

PBS STEM Night featuring Shipwrecks of the Great Lakes

Join us for a fun hands-on STEM program focused on diving and shipwrecks. Families will be able to rotate through stations and learn about various facets of diving and shipwrecks. Upon completion, participants will have access to a downloadable audio walking tour of shipwrecks around Port Washington, as well as have access to the PBS Legend of the Lost Emerald Game which is inspired by real Great Lakes History. Most appropriate for youth in Grades 3-6 (siblings welcome), but open to all. Author, Barbara Joosse, will also be in attendance and will have copies of her book Death's Door: True Tales of Tragedy, Mystery, and Bravery from the Great Lakes' Most Dangerous Waters for sale and signing. If interest in purchase, cash or check will be accepted.

Summer Reading Storytime

Drop in Tuesdays for a fun, interactive storytime with Miss Amy (playtime and/or crafts to follow). Registration is not required. Most appropriate for toddlers - kindergarten (siblings welcome), but open to all. Storytime on June 25, July 23, and August 13 will take place at Possiblity Playground (weather permitting). No Storytime on July 2nd.
