Friday Morning Book Talk

Friday Morning Book Talk is a book group sponsored by the Port Washington Adult Community Senior Center. The group meets in the Library Community Room on the second Friday of the month. Copies of the monthly selection are available for checkout at the upstairs circulation desk.

Veteran Art Fest Class: Paint

Acrylic Paint on Canvas with Rodrigo Santamaria This workshop will provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where veterans and their families, of all ages and artistic skill levels, can express themselves through art. The workshop will focus on acrylic painting techniques, utilizing stencils to guide creativity and offer a unique, yet easy way to engage in the painting process. Whether you're new to painting or a seasoned artist, everyone will be able to create something beautiful and personal. Artists may also choose to create original pieces to submit.  Rodrigo Santamaria: I am a passionate community art facilitator dedicated to using art as a tool for self-expression and empowerment. With a deep commitment to fostering creativity, I teach art to a diverse range of individuals, including adults and children with special needs, the elderly, and incarcerated individuals at the county jail. By creating an inclusive and supportive environment, I help students explore their artisitic potential, build confidence, and find personal growth throug creative expression.
