Tween and Teen Anime Club

Youth in Grades 4- 8, join us on select Wednesdays for Anime Club. Anime Club activities may include (but are not limited to) watching Crunchy Roll, making candy sushi, playing Miyzaki Twister, playing Anime Bingo, creating Kawaii Sharpie Mugs, making a Totoro Corner Bookmark, and coloring Anime Coloring Pages. Lighthouse Lit[erature] Writing Group

Write after work. Join our weekly writing group! This is a space to quietly work on your writing, workshop with other writers, and learn about next steps in publishing. Open to all types of writer whether you are writing fiction, non-fiction, family histories, academic papers, comics, or journaling! Meets every Wednesday from 6:00pm-7:45pm in the Library Quiet Study Room.

Kickin' It Homeschool May 9

This month we will have a visit from Milwaukee Public Museum on the Movie. MPM on the Move will be giving the presentation Get Wild in Wisconsin. Most appropriate for students in grades 1-5. Performance time is approximately 60 minutes. Performance Synopsis: Investigate Wisconsin’s wildlife! Explore the rich variety of plants and animals that populate our state. Find out why they’re so important and learn ways to protect Wisconsin’s habitats and biodiversity. This is a free, public presentation and open to all in the community.
